Our Lab
- In the Executive Function Lab, we perform empirical research to unveil the anatomo-functional mechanisms underlying selective attention and executive control of behavior in physiological conditions.
- Additionally, we are interested in understanding how brain functioning changes with adverse events such as normal aging, brain lesions, or psychiatric disorders.
- Finally, we also investigate how significant life experiences such as highly demanding professions and more generally cognitive reserve shape our mind-brain relationship.
- The methods we use include: experimental psychology, neuropsychology, electroencephalography, neuroimaging, mouse-tracking and neuromodulation techniques.
