>>> For the oral contribution it is necessary to prepare a powerpoint file. You will have 8 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for the discussion. <<<

  1. When submitting an abstract it is imperative that the guidelines are followed: failure to do so may result in the abstract being rejected.
  2. The presenting author, either podium or poster presentation, should be the first author listed. Only those individuals who have contributed to the work should listed as authors. Please note that the abstract will not be accepted unless the presenting author is registered.
  3. If the submitted abstract outlines experimental work or observations it must include the number of subjects/animals/cadavers on which the findings are based.
  4. Abstracts that exceed the given word limit (250 words) will not normally be accepted. Authors will be guided automatically through the system when submitting the abstract. Please also note that the Program Committee reserves the right to select and finalize the entire program.
  5. Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
  6. If an author wishes to be considered for the category SYMPOSIUM “Young researcher award: under 35 years”, when submitting the abstract, the relative box must be checked. If not, this information will be taken as an indication that the presenting author does NOT wish to be considered for the SYMPOSIUM.
  7. All accepted and presented abstracts will be published in Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy.
  8. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed for their possible acceptance. Some selected abstracts will be invited to be presented as oral communications. The preference of oral and poster presentation should be indicated by applicants on the abstract submission form. The final decision on the format of presentation, however, will be made by the Program Committee and the authors will be informed about the change of the form of their presentation.
