Maturità Scientifica nel 1996, laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia con votazione 110/110 e lode nel 2002, Specializzazione in Ortopedia e Traumatologia con votazione 70/70 e lode nel gennaio 2008. Da ottobre 2007: ricercatore M-EDF/02 presso l'Università di Padova, afferenza presso il Dipartimento di Anatomia e Fisiologia.
Dal 2008 professore aggregato, titolare di due corsi presso il Corso di Laurea Specialistica in Scienze e Tecniche dell'Attività Motoria Preventiva e Adattata e di un corso presso il Corso di Laurea Triennale in Scienze Motorie del I anno.
Collabora con l’Università Paris Descartes (Prof. Delmas), con l’Università di San Paolo (prof.ssa Imamura), con l’Università di Ulm (dott. Schleip), con l’Università di Medicina del New Jersey (Prof. Findley) e con l’Università di osteopatia di New York (Prof. Stern).
È membro della Società Italiana di Anatomia e Istologia dal 2007 e della Società Francese di Morphologie dal 2008. È nell’Editorial Board del Surgical Radiological Anatomy e del Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies.
Autore di più di 80 articoli in extenso, di cui 65 indicizzate in PubMed, e di numerose presentazioni orali a congressi internazionali. È coautore di un libro su di una nuova tecnica di terapia manuale (Manipolazione Fasciale, Piccin, 2007), tradotto in inglese, giapponese, spagnolo, tedesco e coreano. ed ha partecipato alla stesura di 2 capitoli sull’anatomia della fascia e sulle sue implicazioni patologiche sul libro “Riabilitazione integrata delle patologie reumatiche” di T. Nava (Masson ed., 2006). Autore di tre capitoli sul libro “Fascia in Manual Therapy” (Elsevier, 2012).
